God Knows

God Knows When questioning, He understands. If hearts break, God mends. When feet dance, He rejoices. If we sing, God praises. When eyes cry, He holds. If sickness overpowers, God heals. When grief comes, He comforts. If we pray, He listens. When sins confessed, God forgives. If troubles overwhelm, God solves. When we are patient, He answers. If we forgive others, God smiles. When all fails, He prevails. With faith and belief, God protects.     Visits: 68

I Lost Me

I Lost Me I lost a deep desire, with a brightly burning fire. I lost the will to be,  the truth inside of me. I lost a yearning to be much more, but then faith led me to a new door. Opening the door to a beautiful sight, finding me in the glowing light. I lost me, but now I can see, I was not lost; God was holding me.  He gently put my feet on the ground but surprise-filled me once turning around. Glowing embers burned brightly at my feet below. Bouncing golden curls kneeling on one knee, Smelling, touching, picking, giving wildflowers to you and me. Bouncing golden curls although only three, Living, loving, caring, showing God’s love for all to see. Lou January 24, 2020 Visits:...

God’s Purpose & Yak-King Interview

GOD’S PURPOSE      God and I have always had a beautiful relationship.  He understands me. Sometimes in frustration, I will holler a little while asking Him questions. So far, He has not sent a lightning bolt to strike me down, although a few have come close.      In January of 1997, after being married to my soulmate for twenty-nine years, I became a forever widow. What is a forever widow?  In my case, forever, widow means that my heart and soul belong to my deceased soulmate, and he remains by my side in spirit.      After retiring in October of 2009 at the age of sixty, I spent the next...

Humbled & Thankful

Today is Wednesday, May 8th, 2019. Fifty-one years ago on Wednesday on May 8th, 1968 a young man and a young woman stood at the front of the church confessing their love for each other and exchanging their marriage vowels in front of their families, friends, and God. That day in Van Vleck, Texas at the Methodist Church  Nancy Blakley and Frank Henderson became Mr. & Mrs. Loren Frank Henderson, Jr. As you all know, I am in the process of writing a Memoir of Frank and my love story.  Two books have been published and are available as autographed books to purchase on this website. Today, on...
