I Want to be Reminded of Lilacs

Why would I want to be reminded of Lilacs? What do they symbolize, and do their colors have special meanings? I did not know a lot about these beautiful flowers and what they symbolize until a friend commented on a blog I wrote named,  My Soulmate Love for Eternity. In this blog, I spoke of the beauty of having a soulmate, a real deep, pure love. A love where we became so close to one another that we had grown like one strand of tightly woven yarn, having one heart and soul.  A love that has transcended through all time, all dimensions, and shared for eternity. A love that so connected that...

What is that Green Smog?

Believe me, all parents need to read this informative blog. This particular information is not passed on to other parents because of its delicate nature and the unusual fear it evokes. It is totally unbelievable and unexpected that it could happen to you.  The only way to prevent this from happening to you, as a parent, would be to just not have children at all, send them off to boarding school at a young age of twelve for seven years, or adopt them at the age of twenty.   Believe me, when it happens to you, you will think about the options you could have chosen. We were married for nearly twenty-nine years at the time of his death.  Frank and I were both eighteen years old when we married, and only thirty hours separated the difference in our ages, so we grew up together. As our hearts and souls became so entwined together, they became one strong thread. Settling in with Frank

We left Naha Airport hand in hand with big smiles on our faces. Frank and I were back together again, nothing else in the world mattered at that moment. It was still early in the day, so we took a cab to Kadena Circle then turned off on a different road, and then in just a couple of blocks, we were at the house that Frank had rented for us to live. After leaving my suitcase in the house, we decided to walk to a town not far from our home called Kadena. We walked around, looking in the open-front stores. Then we went to a restaurant approved with a three A rating above the door at the entry....

Uneven Numbers Competition

Frank only had a week off from his job at Torii Station to help me get settled into our new home. We worked hard to get settled in, and we did it. Frank worked 30 days straight of each shift, days, evenings then nights, with a couple of days off between the different changes. The day shift was from the hours from 6:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M., the evening shift was from 3:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M., and the night shift was from 11:00 P.M. until 6:00 A.M. Since Frank and I did not have yet have children, I adjusted my schedule to his schedule.  If Frank worked all night, I stayed up all night...
