I Miss You

I miss the man who held my hand as we walked together through this life. I miss your beautiful-dimpled cheeks with a smile that made my heart come alive. I miss you having faith in me to become anything without fear. I miss your physical body always being near. I miss the way you gently brushed my hair, while I sat on the floor in front of your chair. I miss you holding me close and drying my tears. I miss you saying, I love you softly in my ears. I miss you listening to me without interruptions, letting me come to my own conclusions I miss you allowing me to make mistakes without judgments,...

Waiting in Line

A long line of people stretched ahead of Jess. The people in front of her seemed not to be moving, but she did not care because her mind was busy remembering her journey to get here.  Had she done enough, and was she ready? What If?

What If?   What if a new Virus came to town, having no vaccine around? What if it threatened all humankind, making essentials hard to find? What if all people joined in prayer, asking God for a cure and lives to spare? What if we thanked God in advance, showing true faith, not...

God Knows

God Knows When questioning, He understands. If hearts break, God mends. When feet dance, He rejoices. If we sing, God praises. When eyes cry, He holds. If sickness overpowers, God heals. When grief comes, He comforts. If we pray, He listens. When sins confessed, God forgives. If troubles overwhelm, God solves. When we are patient, He answers. If we forgive others, God smiles. When all fails, He prevails. With faith and belief, God protects.     Visits: 67

God’s Purpose & Yak-King Interview

GOD’S PURPOSE      God and I have always had a beautiful relationship.  He understands me. Sometimes in frustration, I will holler a little while asking Him questions. So far, He has not sent a lightning bolt to strike me down, although a few have come close.      In January of 1997, after being married to my soulmate for twenty-nine years, I became a forever widow. What is a forever widow?  In my case, forever, widow means that my heart and soul belong to my deceased soulmate, and he remains by my side in spirit.      After retiring in October of 2009 at the age of sixty, I spent the next...
