What If?

What If?   What if a new Virus came to town, having no vaccine around? What if it threatened all humankind, making essentials hard to find? What if people had to stay at home,  not allowed to roam? What if children were out of school, with parents becoming the new teaching tool? What if families flourished, having a love for each other nourished? What if unselfishness and kindness for others grew, making love for all humanity new? What if all people joined in prayer, asking God for a cure and lives to spare? What if we thanked God in advance, showing true faith, not...

The Rainbow

The Rainbow As the rain subsides and colors fill the sky, I tell my darkness goodbye Once a silhouette in a world lost of color, now walking unwavering without umbrella cover. The wonderment of the future yet to unfold, warms my heart removing the cold. With each step, I begin to smile, knowing life is beautiful for a little while. Views: 75

You Are Special You are a special young man to me, and came into my life when you were less than three. Big brown eyes, brown hair with a magnificent smile, you melted my heart in a very short while. When He Visits

When He Visits   Writing then feeling, you touch my hair. Pausing and knowing, I have time to spare. Remembering then picturing, I see your dimples and smile. Wanting and praying, you can stay for a while.  Touching then comforting, you bring me your love. Thanking and loving, God sent you from above. Lingering then leaving, to Heaven you must go. Understanding and saying, I love you so.  Smiling then typing, you have now empowered me. Finishing then reading, the book our story will be.   Lou March 4, 2020           Views:...

Life Is Brief

Budding and growing in early Spring, shaping, then becoming colors of green. Rustling and holding tight, cooling, then shading in the sunlight. Changing and turning brown in the Fall, floating, then bouncing like a ball. Rolling and sailing in the wind, rising, then gliding once again. Twirling and dancing in the air, landing, then resting somewhere. Understanding and loving being a leaf, Accepting, then knowing life is brief.   March 14, 2020 Lou                             Views:...
