When Kitty Visits

When Kitty Visits You come to visit for just a little while, and with each visit you make me smile. I do not know your name, but it does not matter. Your warmth and love make the Angels gather. As I rub your soft fur, you roll and purr at my feet. I am comforted by your affection which is beyond sweet. Soon you will prance across the grass to your home. Running, leaping, dancing along the electric line, watching, praying you will be fine. Straddling, clinging, sleeping on the branch of a tree, wondering, questioning if you see me. What If? What if a new Virus came to town, having no vaccine around? What if it threatened all humankind, making essentials hard to find? What if people had to stay at home, not allowed to roam?
