Your Are Special

You Are Special You are a special young man to me, and came into my life when you were less than three. Big brown eyes, brown hair with a magnificent smile, you melted my heart in a very short while. Soon by God’s loving plan and grace, You became my Great Grandson bringing an even bigger smile to my face. Remember the ice bucket challenge that we decided to do? That bucket of ice water was nearly as big as you, but that didn’t stop you from dumping that water, and I still remember your amazing laughter, Together we have played in my backyard, and I watched you swim in my...

Life Is Brief

Budding and growing in early Spring, shaping, then becoming colors of green. Rustling and holding tight, cooling, then shading in the sunlight. Changing and turning brown in the Fall, floating, then bouncing like a ball. Rolling and sailing in the wind, rising, then gliding once again. God Knows

God Knows When questioning, He understands. If hearts break, God mends. When feet dance, He rejoices. If we sing, God praises. When eyes cry, He holds. If sickness overpowers, God heals. When grief comes, He comforts. If we pray, He listens. When sins confessed, God forgives. If troubles overwhelm, God solves. When we are patient, He answers. If we forgive others, God smiles. When all fails, He prevails. With faith and belief, God protects.     Views: 68

I Am Sick of Myself

I Am Sick of Myself

For some reason, Myself has become a total nuisance.  Although I am used to being alone with Myself, we are not getting along.  As a matter of fact, we are not even speaking to each other. I want to do stuff around the house, but Myself thinks we are on vacation and wants to sit on the couch playing games on my phone or watching Netflix movies.  Lord forbid an exciting series comes up on the screen with ten thousand episodes, Myself wants to watch, which becomes an all-nighter. Myself thinks it’s fun to make me want to snack and drink water, then signals me to run to the bathroom. You...
