When He Visits

When He Visits   Writing then feeling, you touch my hair. Pausing and knowing, I have time to spare. Remembering then picturing, I see your dimples and smile. Wanting and praying, you can stay for a while.  Touching then comforting, you bring me your love. Thanking and loving, God sent you from above. Lingering then leaving, to Heaven you must go. Understanding and saying, I love you so.  Smiling then typing, you have now empowered me. Finishing then reading, the book our story will be.   Lou March 4, 2020           Views:...

Life Is Brief

Budding and growing in early Spring, shaping, then becoming colors of green. Rustling and holding tight, cooling, then shading in the sunlight. Changing and turning brown in the Fall, floating, then bouncing like a ball. Rolling and sailing in the wind, rising, then gliding once again. Twirling and dancing in the air, landing, then resting somewhere. Understanding and loving being a leaf, Accepting, then knowing life is brief.   March 14, 2020 Lou                             Views:...

Those Big Eyes

Those Big Eyes   Those big eyes, they sparkle and dance, searching the room with just a glance. Eyes with long lashes slowly blinking, make you wonder what is he thinking. Big eyes that are innocent and sincere, Projecting peace to all who are near. Those big eyes trying to fight off sleep, fill hearts of eyes watching with love so deep. Big eyes filled with sweet love, assuring all they come from above. These big eyes of an angel unaware Come from God, so beautiful and rare. Meme February 3, 2020   Views:...

Mask to Mask

Staying home was not something Elsa wanted to do.  Accustomed to being at her office from sunup to sundown was the norm for her.  The pandemic had changed everything, and everything seemed surreal.  Elsa’s apartment was modestly decorated.  If not for an insisting girlfriend, she probably would most likely not have any furnishing, except maybe a bed and chair.  Entertaining was not a priority for Elsa.  She just needed a place to come home to shower, have a glass of wine, and get some sleep.  Things were so different at her office.  Elsa had spent tons of money decorating and making her...

God Knows

God Knows

God Knows When questioning, He understands. If hearts break, God mends. When feet dance, He rejoices. If we sing, God praises. When eyes cry, He holds. If sickness overpowers, God heals. When grief comes, He comforts. If we pray, He listens. When sins confessed, God forgives. If troubles overwhelm, God solves. When we are patient, He answers. If we forgive others, God smiles. When all fails, He prevails. With faith and belief, God protects.     Views: 67
