One More Chance

Did that fire happen, or am I dreaming? Now I need to check myself out. My back feels solid and straight, both of my arms feel attached, my seat not burned, all four legs are still there, but I only feel one foot. I feel blistered and scorched on one side, but most importantly, I need my other foot. Without two feet, I am useless.  Maybe, I am at the end of my journey, but what a good rocking time I have had. One More Journey

Did that fire happen, or am I dreaming? Now I need to check myself out. My back feels solid and straight, both of my arms feel attached, my seat not burned, all four legs are still there, but I only feel one foot. Always There

I am feeling overwhelmed, and then you touched my hair, reminding me, you are always there. You are living in Heaven, now far away, sending loving touches to me today. I am thanking God for the gift of you, giving me a sweet love so true. I am reminded of the life we shared, remembering how much adventure we dared. I am writing this poem to remind me each day, receiving love from you is never far away.       Visits: 153

I Miss You

I Miss You

I miss the man who held my hand as we walked together through this life. I miss your beautiful-dimpled cheeks with a smile that made my heart come alive. I miss you having faith in me to become anything without fear. I miss your physical body always being near. I miss the way you gently brushed my hair, while I sat on the floor in front of your chair. I miss you holding me close and drying my tears. I miss you saying, I love you softly in my ears. I miss you listening to me without interruptions, letting me come to my own conclusions I miss you allowing me to make mistakes without judgments,...
