Keys Anybody

After my vehicle left on the wrecker late in the evening.  I waited until noon the next day to check on my vehicle thinking it would give them time to access the problem with the brake.  When  Ford Service Department answered after giving them my info, they told me that they could not find my vehicle.  Well now, that was not the information I was expecting to hear from them.   They had everyone check their key lock boxes on the whole complex but no one had the keys to my Vehicle.
Enterprise Rental cars told them they checked their box when they opened and “No Keys”!
Ford service called wrecker service many times, the guy finally got flaming mad and quit answering the phone!
Of course, the vehicle was locked, so I gave them the code to get in to check for the key maybe being inside. I called them back after fifteen minutes and the keys were not inside. I told them I had a spare key, but it was not like I could drive over and take it to them, lol! So they said they would send a shuttle car after my keys. I hung up and decided to label the heck out of my keys, you know, name, date of birth, weight… Just kidding!
While I was labeling the keys, the phone rang. It was the Ford Service department, they had driven to Enterprise and made them open up their key drop box.
You guessed it, my keys were in the box! Unbelievable!
So, now they had the vehicle and the keys but it took most of the day. I would not get an evaluation of the vehicle with the time it will take to fix it until the next day, only then would I be able to get a rental car.
“Welcome to the New More Efficient New World”.
All in God’s time and I’m still smiling!

    • Thank you so much for your comment. There were certainly lots of bees buzzing in the apple tree that day, for sure!
      God Bless you,
