Seed of Love

Seed of Love Darkness does surround, Waiting in the ground, Moisture touches me, Waking me to flee, Outer shell has burst,  Increasing my thirst, Breaking thru the earth, Today is my rebirth Sunlight on my face, Feeling God’s amazing grace Stand firm and straight, Budding flowers await, Flowers soon to bloom, Removing human gloom, Once a lifeless seed, Sharing love in times of need.                                                                                                      By Lou Visits:...

God Knows

God Knows When questioning, He understands. If hearts break, God mends. When feet dance, He rejoices. If we sing, God praises. When eyes cry, He holds. If sickness overpowers, God heals. When grief comes, He comforts. If we pray, He listens. When sins confessed, God forgives. If troubles overwhelm, God solves. When we are patient, He answers. If we forgive others, God smiles. When all fails, He prevails. With faith and belief, God protects.     Visits: 67

Bouncing Golden Curls

Bouncing Golden Curls Bouncing golden curls running through the grass, Singing, dancing, spinning, having just a touch of sass. Bouncing golden curls looking to the sky, Stopping, smiling, pointing, saying Angels are flying by. Bouncing golden curls kneeling on one knee, Smelling, touching, picking, giving wildflowers to you and me. Bouncing golden curls although only three, Living, loving, caring, showing God’s love for all to see. Lou January 24, 2020 Visits:...

So far, He has not sent a lightning bolt to strike me down, although a few have come close.      In January of 1997, after being married to my soulmate for twenty-nine years, I became a forever widow. What is a forever widow?  In my case, forever, widow means that my heart and soul belong to my deceased soulmate, and he remains by my side in spirit.      After retiring in October of 2009 at the age of sixty, I spent the next...

Mr. Kitty Kat

Nothing was extraordinary about that day.  It was just another hot, dry summer day in late May. Deep in my thoughts, I walked out of the front door of my home.  The detached garage had been converted into a game room many years back. I have typed all of my blogs and books in this room. As I approached the front door to the game room, a cat came running from the left side of the building.  The stray feline was loudly crying as it ran closer towards me. A little frightened at the cat’s behavior, but concerned; I stood without moving. To me, the cries of the stray cat sounded more...
